“Your life is in process.  The end of your story is being built, and there are really only two endings.  Choose the path that leads to stability and security, rejecting the foolish path of temporary pleasure in life.”

How do we get to be what we will become?  The most basic answer is that we choose.  Repeatedly.  We build a life for ourselves, and this life is built upon a foundation of some kind.  This last section of The Sermon on the Mount, Matthew 7:24-29 is a very recognizable story of two builders.  Each builder is emblematic of a pattern of life that we may choose to navigate.  Dr. Dan Martin, President of Mount Vernon Nazarene University will share on this familiar, but crucial lesson.
